Connor + Randa + Zeus

November, 23, 2008

I had a fun shoot yesterday with 3 great dogs.  I promised their humans a sneak peek tonight so here are a few photos from their session.  I hope you had a happy birthday Margie!  You and Dan have a beautiful pack of doggies.

Help us stock the shelter!

November, 19, 2008

Four Legs Photography and Fayetteville Window Washing are teaming up to gather food and supplies for the animal shelters in our area.  Below is a list of supplies they need.  Please consider picking up an item next time you are at the store, whether it’s a small bag of dog/cat food or a just bottle of laundry detergent.  Walgreens has really cheap dog toys and even $10 pet beds!  I bet you have some old towels or blankets in your linen closet.  Dogs don’t care if the blankets have a few holes in them.  They are just happy to have something soft to sleep on!  Lets help make the shelter dogs and cats more comfortable until they find their forever homes.  We are starting small this year by just asking family and friends to help, but maybe we can make this bigger and better in the years to come.  Thanks for remembering the animals this holiday season!!!

Bath Time for Tina

November, 13, 2008

Tina is great at taking baths.  I honestly can’t tell if she enjoys it or if she just tolerates it, but she stays very still and calm so I assume she doesn’t mind.  Until we got Tina a few months ago, we only had bath tub sized dogs.  I must say that bathing a dog in the kitchen sink is not only convenient, it is much easier on the knees and back.  I felt like the parent of a newborn documenting bath time with their baby.  Oh well, she is my baby!  I’m so glad Tina came onto our lives.  She is the sweetest little dog and we have had so much fun getting to know her.  Now get ready for some serious cuteness…

Little Rock Shoot Weekend

November, 6, 2008

I have had a few inquiries about scheduling photo shoots in the LR/NLR area.  Ideally, I would like to schedule several sessions in one weekend, that way I could divide my travel fee between several clients.  If you live in the LR area and might be interested, please leave a comment to let me know what you think.  Thanks!

Sashay

November, 5, 2008

I got to photograph another gorgeous purebred last weekend.  I am so used to my Heinz-57 dogs that I forget how beautiful purebred dogs can be.  Sashay is an 11 month old Bernese Mountain Dog and she is just stunning!  I was amazed at how symmetrical her markings are on her chest and legs.  She is very well behaved for an 11 month old dog which is no surprise since her mom is the owner of The Canine Connection here in Fayetteville.  Sashay is a very smart and observant girl.  During our shoot, she recognized a doggie daycare friend of hers from all the way across Old Main lawn!  Thanks for a fun shoot Valerie, and I look forward to visiting The Canine Connection very soon.

Our engagement photos

November, 4, 2008

…are online!  Jason and Kori Hudson of Hudson Photography did an awesome job.  I am so glad they will be our wedding photographers.  They are very talented and have won lots of awards and they are just all around cool people.  Kori’s little sister Jamie is one of my very best friends and bridesmaids.  Click here to see our photos on their blog.  You’ll have to scroll down a little which you won’t mind at all because their blog is really fun to look at.  :)  Look for Rachel + Neill = Engaged.
